Even though my true passion is being in front of the camera with a microphone in hand, writing is something that I love doing. Writing is the foundation of being a great journalist, which is why I put such great emphasis on my writing abilities.

Darryl Strawberry Appearing at "Faith & Family Night" for Syracuse Mets
Syracuse, N.Y.– Former MLB superstar Darryl Strawberry headlined the Syracuse Mets “Faith & Family Night” at NBT Bank Stadium on Friday to stress how religion changed his life for the better. Strawberry played 17 seasons in the MLB, including his first eight with the New York Mets. The former first-overall pick broke onto the scene in 1983, winning the National League Rookie of the Year Award. The four-time World Series Champion was a key member of Mets most recent title in 1986, and won three more with the New York Yankees in the late 1990s.

Savannah Bananas "Magical" Night in Syracuse
Syracuse, N.Y.– The Savannah Bananas made an appearance in Syracuse Thursday night on their 2023 Banana Ball World Tour in front of a sold-out crowd. Even though the Bananas lost to the Party Animals 4-3, the atmosphere inside the stadium of over 10,000 fans was a once-and-a-lifetime experience.

The Buffalo Bandits’ title aspirations fell short Saturday night at KeyBank Center in a 10-8 loss against the Colorado Mammoth in Game 3 of the NLL Finals.

Just two weeks prior, Buffalo won the opening game on its home floor, 15-14. Colorado won two straight games to clinch its second championship in franchise history. The Mammoth’s previous title was a 16-9 win against the Bandits on the road back in 2006.

Chris Cloutier is grateful for the fresh start he received when the Buffalo Bandits traded for him in February 2019.The Philadelphia Wings had selected the forward, listed then at 6-foot-1, 227 pounds, with the second-overall pick in that summer’s NLL Draft. By midseason, the Wings were ready to move on and sent him to Buffalo in exchange for defenseman Ryan Wagner and a 2021 first-round pick.
